We've been experimenting with the Davidson plum and passion fruit combo in cocktails for a while now, so it was only a matter of time until this duo found its way into a Brookie’s bottle. Bright, tart and tangy, fruity, juicy, and the freshness of a crisp rainforest gin!
Brookie’s Slow Passion Gin is a delicious and innovative sipper, created over several months from macerating the indigenous Davidson plums & locally sourced passion fruit in Brookie’s Dry Gin, a slow process that takes over 12 months in the making. Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin is bottled at 26% ABV and made with 100% natural ingredients. A very limited and unique release with bright and tangy flavours of plum, passion fruit, raspberry, and citrus. This unique Gin is perfectly balanced and inspired by the Northern Rivers local produce.
We’re passionate about the rainforest in our backyard and the incredible native ingredients that grow here in the Northern Rivers, including the native Davidson Plum. We are constantly learning about native Australian produce and love playing around with these flavours, and not being too afraid to try something completely new! We use the juicy 'Sweetheart' passion fruit variety purchased from our neighbours ‘Terania Creek Passionfruit’, a family-run farm in the Byron hinterland.
